Sri Kartikeya Gana Sabha Trust is formed in August 2009 by Vidushi Dr. Smt. Duddu Radhikka & Sri Duddu Lakshmi Ganapathi Murthy. The trust was formed with the aim of rendering humble service in promoting Classical Music(Carnatic music in particular), Harikathas, Pravachanas, Classical Dance and other allied activities in the field of Fine Arts which lead to the promotion and development of Classical Music, Musicians, students etc.

Young Talents Shine during YPS 2019
SKGS organized Yuva Pratibha Sangeetotsavam (YPS – 2019), the 9th Annual National Youth Festival of Music from 13th Sept. – 15th Sept. 2019 at Kowtha Swarajya Vihar, Padmarao Nagar, Secunderabad. The 3 day festival featured 2 concerts per day totalling 6 concerts in all. Over a dozen young and exciting musicians (below 25 years age) across the country have performed during the festival. The festival was vibrant and brimming with great quality of music on all the three days. All the concerts were webcast live on SKGS official youtube channel and received great appreciation from Music rasikas locally and across the globe.
Announcement – Music Competitions 2019
CARNATIC CLASSICAL – SKGS for the first time is organising Music Competitions in Carnatic Classical Music for different age groups in Vocal/Veena/Violin/Mridangam & Elocution. The details of the competitions, syllabus, terms & guidelines are given in detail under the ‘Events/Music Competitions’ page. Last date for application is 15th October 2019.
